Brownsville sees Plan for new Intermodal Center
Brownsville Urban System, or BUS, and its general manager Norma Zamora, laid out draft plans for development of a downtown intermodal facility that would be placed strategically near the Texas-Mexico border inside the city. The plan, presented in conjunction with the engineering and planning firm of Carter & Burgess, would centralize waiting, ticket booths and parking for municipal BUS fleets, private and international buses as well as taxicabs.

Metroplex: Commutes to Suburbs
The Dallas and Fort Worth area, indeed the larger suburban areas surrounding Tarrant and Dallas counties, increasingly find themselves dealing, even groping, for congestion problems and commute solutions. Their projected needs to alleviate this mobility problem growing by billions of dollars.
