The United States Congress has passed a five-month extension of TEA-21, through Feb. 29, at prorated 2004 congressional budget resolution funding levels. TEA-21 expires Sept. 30. See Download file

Meeting as the Mass Transit Board, the El Paso City Council has approved an $85,000 request from Sun Metro, the city’s transit authority, to select a new site for an international transit terminal Downtown.
Three cities rather than eight, as originally envisioned, will have passenger rail service.
