Del Mar students ride free on new bus service

Del Mar College students can ride the bus for free to any location in the city when they show their college identification. The college and the Regional Transportation Authority entered into an agreement, which also allows students from surrounding towns in RTA’s service area to take the bus into town. About $5,000 from the Student Activities Fee Fund is being used to cover the cost of fares and expenses. The program runs through Aug. 31, 2004.
