FTA recognizes Sun Metro Achievement
Sun Metro gets award for error-free contracts
The Federal Transit Administration recently gave Sun Metro a rare achievement award because a detailed audit of Sun Metro’s procurement contracts failed to find a single problem.
Sun Metro Director Terry Lee Scott and city Purchasing Agent Byron Johnson did a show-and-tell about the award at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
“This is a plaque that has never happened — ever,” Johnson said, holding up the plaque from the transit administration.
