Houston’s Metro preparing for new leader

The Metropolitan Transit Authority may have a new leader. Metro’s board of directors is expected to meet to approve a contract for Frank Wilson.

He is currently the president of a construction consulting firm, and has 30 years of public transportation experience.

Wilson has worked for transit systems in San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia.

Wilson will succeed outgoing president and chief executive officer Shirley DeLibero, who is retiring.
