Re: TxDOT Public Transportation Division and Hearings on Funding
The first Public Hearings on (1) formula funding for rural and small urban, and (2) comments on public transportation service and needs in local areas, begin on February 10, 2004 via interactive video conferencing from each local TxDOT District Office and the TxDOT offices on Riverside Drive, Building 200, in Austin from 5:30pm to about 7:30pm.
Please note that all but two District Offices have confirmed, so check with your District Office and confirm their participation before traveling to that location.
The Agenda for Feb. 10, 2004 includes an Introduction, an outline of the process to be followed at this meeting, take Public Comments, and interactive communication.
The dates and times for the regional public hearings that are to move around the State in or around the time period of the second or third week of February, has not yet been announced by PTN.
