The Managing Director is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the activities and programs of the Communications and Marketing Department. The department provides critical external and internal communications support, develops marketing strategies for all DCTA services, and coordinates all marketing, promotion, community and media activities. Directs and coordinates public participation plan, creates and coordinates speaker bureau, conducts media relations training for key personnel, acts as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to institutional priorities.
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan, coordinate special events, oversee collateral material development, maintain public relations efforts to meet interest, needs and objectives of DCTA, and coordinates website design and maintenance.
Must be a proactive and creative individual with a Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in marketing, journalism, communications or other related discipline. 5 - 8 years of increasingly responsible work in solid writing and editing, marketing, public relations, journalism, and/or advertising. Public transportation or government entity experience highly desirable. Excellent starting salary and benefits package.

Position responsible for providing DCTA staff and Board of Directors with direction, management of company’s financial strategy, business planning, and directing the overall financial policies. Oversees administrative functions including accounting, payroll, budget, debt, insurance, IT, HR, and treasury. Develops and maintains systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the company. Directs and manages accounting and financial activities including preparation and management of annual operating and capital budget, cash flow analysis, and budget forecast. Assumes full management responsibility for all administration functions and application process. Leads and directs the work of employees in the finance and administrative departments.
CPA Certification desired. Experience equivalent to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in governmental financial planning and administration, including three years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. Position Description:
- Verifies that project documents progress on a predetermined path and that any change to that path receives the proper level of technical review and management approval. Ensures that all FTA and other state/government agencies procedures and regulations are adhered to. Assists in establishing policies and procedures that govern the design, construction and management of project documentation for METRO Solutions and also ensures that the program/projects procedures are followed.
